Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should: 

 

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university, accompanied by a Professional Engineering License (Strongly Preferred). 
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in structural design and engineering, particularly in data center infrastructure. 
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including AISI, AISC, ANSI, ASTM, AWS, IBC, MFMA, OSHA, and NFPA. 
  • Have proficiency in CAD/BIM software such as Bentley STAAD PRO, Solid Works, Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD.

    • Reviewing and monitoring engineering work to assure accuracy and conformance with client and company specifications, governing codes, and project procedures.

Our client is hiring for an onsite Contract Manager possessing the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or construction management from an accredited institution. 
  • Certification as a Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is a plus. 
  • 10+ years of experience in preparing, administering, and managing construction contracts as a Contract Manager with TIC greater than $100MM for a construction company in a similar role

  • The administration and management of CSA, Mechanical, Piping and E&I lump sum construction contracts including material management. 
  • Preparation of bid documents, and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, or other construction services under contract 
  • Prepares requests for proposals for distribution to vendors. 
  • Responds to bids, proposals, and contract negotiations. 
  • ​​​Supports complex contract negotiations and manages all changes in, and addendums to, existing contracts.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineering Manager (independent contractor) to play a key role in this groundbreaking project. The construction and subsequent operation of this facility represents our Client’s commitment to advancing environmental efficiency and sustainability. Key components of a highly qualified Candidate include: 

  • Project and Engineering Management: Requires min. 20 years of project engineering / project management experience in heavy industries (such as oil & gas, refinery, chemical, waste treatment) and infrastructure development projects with TIC greater than $100MM.   
  • Track record of professional experience gained by working in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor environments for large capital design-build / construction projects. 
  • Sound working knowledge of industrial drawings, design development, and building specifications. 
  • Communication Skills: Broad knowledge of Engineering principles to effectively communicate with owners, project managers, engineers, general contractors/sub-contractors and field personnel.

Our client is seeking a talented Construction Project Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing the construction of data center buildings, facilities and MEP systems to meet the complex and evolving needs of their clients. Key components we are looking for: 

  • Capable of managing a single construction project over $100M and/or multiple smaller projects simultaneously 
  • Proficient financial acumen capable of insuring project profitability for the company 
  • Construction contract acumen capable of ascertaining risk mitigation efforts around contract terms to protect project profitability and company interest 
  • Ability to develop Project Cost proposals and negotiating terms of an Agreement between the Company and Client 
  • Understands all types of Owner / Designer / Contractor types of Agreements and has the knowledge necessary to appropriately navigate project related issues within the confines of each Agreement 
  • Knowledge of various types of construction applications in order to provide client-based feedback related to schedule, cost, and specific construction application 
  • 5+ years of Construction Project Management and Project Engineering experience with recent Mission Critical/Data Center background; BIM awareness and thorough understanding of the latest advancements in Mission Critical Construction, hyperscale data centers etc., and experience successfully bringing projects to close 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), financial budgeting and accounting proficiency, resource allocation, decision-making and time management skills 
  • PM / CM Software proficiency – document control, cost control, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration; Proficient user of MS Office apps. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, executive management, team members, staff, sub-contractors and vendors 
  • Bachelors degree (4-year accredited college degree) is preferred in Construction Management or Engineering; however, relevant successful experience in lieu of formal education may be considered

  • Travel: our Client’s company is travel focused. All project-based employees may be required to travel from 25-60%, depending on location of future job assignments 

In this highly visible role, you’ll be managing Data Center Construction projects and maintaining key clients in a defined market (Austin, TX / Central Texas) while supporting as needed the Company and Clients across other regions. It is expected you will be involved in the following:    

  • Manages the overall program implementation for client projects – leading direction, completion, and financial outcome for our clients on each assigned project with autonomy. 
  • Project Planning / Project Management, developing comprehensive plans, awareness of project schedules, development of budgets, regulatory compliance and quality control measures from start to finish.

  • This role continues and enhances the strategic focus necessary for successful and effective field and operational excellence while staying abreast of the latest technology developments impacting data center design and client requirements.
